With its simple country style, we call this one the Everyday dress
Suitable for a party too, it was dyed and stitched on site
100% cotton, 100% natural dyes
The flower pattern and circles are achieved using Batik -
wax resist by intricate folding - as well as Shibori - tying -
application before dipping into the dye bath(s)
The plant used to dye this pretty dress is the Rubia Cordifolia
- a.k.a Indian Madder, of which we use the branches not the roots
making the process even more sustainable
